Casi (the “Application”) is a private, personal administrative assistant operated by Craig McClelland for his own use and the use of his affiliated businesses. This policy explains how the Application accesses and handles data obtained through Google APIs.
The Application is operated by Craig McClelland. It is not a public product; it is used solely to assist the operator with managing his own email, calendar, and related business correspondence across accounts the operator owns or controls.
With your explicit authorization through Google’s standard OAuth consent flow, the Application may access Google user data for accounts the operator owns, including:
The Application requests only the access needed for these functions and uses read-only Gmail access for the operator’s additional mailboxes.
Data is used exclusively to provide personal administrative assistance to the operator — for example, summarizing inboxes, identifying action items and deadlines, drafting replies for the operator’s approval, and preparing daily briefings. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to these assistant functions.
The Application does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties. Data is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide the assistant features to the operator (for example, transmitting a message the operator has approved for sending).
The Application runs on hardware controlled by the operator. Authorization tokens and working data are stored locally on the operator’s own computer and are retained only as long as needed to provide the service. The operator may delete stored data or revoke access at any time.
Casi’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Authorization can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately ends the Application’s access to that account’s data.
Questions about this policy may be directed to the operator at craig@oldcountyfarm.com.
